A year at our school
Tighes Hill Public School offers a wide range of representative sporting opportunities. Students have the opportunity to develop skills, teamwork and school spirit. Congratulations to our school aerobics team, the 'Sapphires' on their recent success at Nationals!
Our school provides excellent High Potential Talent Development opportunities that aim to extend and enrich student potential. We offer wide range of programs including chess competitions, where students have the chance to enhance critical thinking, strategy, and concentration skills while representing the school with pride. Congratulations to our talented chess teams on their outstanding performance in recent competitions!
Tighes Hill Public School is currently partnering with the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) to implement 'Daily Reviews' as part of our ongoing focus on evidence-based teaching practices. These sessions have been rolled out in area of mathematics, allowing quality teaching that is tailored to every student.
Our child has hit the ground running since starting kindergarten at Tighes Hill Public School. He has been excited to come to school each and every day to learn with his teachers and classmates - New Kinder parent 2025
